Tindall Partners with Camperdown Academy for Business Education Program

Tindall kicks off 2018 by hosting a program for Camperdown Academy’s 7th and 8th graders to learn more about future career opportunities in the engineering industry. Tindall previously worked with Camperdown Academy in August 2017 to provide students with telescopes and protective eyewear for the total solar eclipse.

Once a month, Tindall and Camperdown will alternate between their facilities for team building exercises as well as business education. This month, the students toured the plant, constructed concrete products, and learned business administration skills.

Camperdown is an institution that is dear to Tindall employees – some have children who attend the school. They are honored to provide students with information about future career choices in engineering.

The interactions between the two groups are designed to foster inspiration for a future career where each student rises to his or her full potential.

About Camperdown Academy:

We are a school providing excellence in the education of dyslexic children. Camperdown is a school of need, not of choice. Students with language-based learning disabilities in grades one through eight learn how to learn, and then successfully transition back to a traditional classroom environment. With a 3:1 student to teacher ratio, individualized instruction cultivates an “I can!” attitude among students that translates to positive self-esteem and productive academic progress.
